Research using an Iomed Phoresor Unit provides exciting new information. A recent study*, by a Nu Skin® Professional Advisory Board Member, measured the ability of the galvanic current to help skin care ingredients enter the skin.

Once the Galvanic Spa® treatment was concluded, measurements were taken at three different intervals. The first measurement was taken at zero hours, the second at six hours and the last measurement was taken at 24 hours after completing a Galvanic Spa® treatment.

Active "A" is an active skin care ingredient found in one Nu Skin® treatment product. You can see that at both six and 24 hours there is over a 70% increase in the ability of Active "A" to enter the galvanic-treated skin. Galvanic Spa® treatment increases absorption making active ingredients more available for skin improvement.
